Restaurant with stage area and dance floor. Saturday nights they have good classic bachata and merengue tipico bands. The bands play with full live percussion - not with drum machines like in some smaller venues. It is loud and crowded, but friendly. When I stopped in at 2:30am, the party was still going strong. Highly recommended!

| El 27 de Febrero |
| Music Style: Bachata, Latin, Merengue Tipico, Trio/Bolero |

El 27 has for twenty years been the regular Friday performance venue of Edilio Paredes and his group. One of the originators of bachata, Edilio energizes patrons with mixed sets of old school bachatas, guitar merengues, and modern covers. Having recently adopted the accordion as a second instrument, Edilio also throws in a bit of merengue tipico for variety. The crowd is friendly and dancing is encouraged. Dinner is served until late at night but it's basic fare. For a change up Manolette's Friday night Merengue Tipico party is only a block away.
