We are currently working on a new project with a venerable 81 year old singer from Santiago in the Dominican Republic. Jose Cobles, AKA 'Puerto Plata', is one of the last remaining of his generation. His classic style was formed in a golden age for Dominican son, bolero, and merengue. He is from a region which many Dominicans contend is the true birth place of this music.
